Amber Rose caused quite the stir amongst fans when she tweeted a photo of her pregnant belly in her undies. However, she’s not the first expecting mother to showcase her bare baby bump.

On last night’s fifth season finale of “The Game”, Melanie & Derwin said goodbye to the show in a touching manner.

In case you missed it, Melanie was offered an opportunity to work in the medical field that she couldn’t pass up. The only problem? The job was far away from home. Derwin then came up with a solution, stating:

“Figured with my schedule wide open, why not take that time, be on the sidelines rooting for my wife?”

Despite Tia Mowry & Pooch Hall’s departure from the show, it seems as though BET has renewed the show for a sixth season, minus the lead characters.

I’m aware that the show is a hit for the network, but I’m not sure how the show will fare without Melanie or Derwin (I still miss Kelly Pitts as well). Will you be watching in spite of the cast changes?

On last night’s episode of “The Game”, the show went back to it’s original format of 30 minutes, as well as an included laugh track (thank goodness!) & less over-the-top drama (more comedy).

In case you missed it, the episode features Malik’s money woes, more marital problems between Melanie & Derwin, the return of Irv (who hasn’t changed one bit), as well as Tasha Mack’s redemption.

Thoughts on “No Money, Mo Problems”?

The hour-long season premiere of “The Game” debuted last night to mixed reviews:

Thankfully, the fifth season kicked off exactly where it left off, with the reveal of Melanie’s abortion, Malik’s troubled girlfriend, Jason’s struggle with race relations & Tasha’s constant doubts about her son’s well-being. Also introduced to the show was Brandy, as a bartender named Chardonnay.

Tia & Tamera Mowry have aged marvelously, as the two sisters seem to look more gorgeous over time.

The famous twins recently attended  the 2012 NBC Universal Winter TCA Tour All-Star Party  in Pasadena, California, showcasing chic ensembles on the red carpet.

I’m really loving everything about both sister’s looks here, head to toe. Crazy to think that Tia & Tamera launched to fame with ‘Sister, Sister’ 18 years ago! I’m getting old…

BET held a Hollywood premiere party at the Roosevelt Hotel last night, celebrating the return of “The Game” & “Let’s Stay Together”.

Stars such as Brandy, Tia Mowry, Pooch Hall, Kyla Pratt & Teyana Taylor were in attendance.

This look certainly stood out to me, as Teyana Taylor is certainly quite the trendsetter. I just wonder if her latest ensemble is fashion-forward? Would you give it a yay or a nay?

I suppose it’s all in good fun but I’m really surprised at GQ’s list of “The 25 Least Influential People Alive”.

The publication’s list of celebrities & somewhat prominent media figures even entails reasons why each person featured is virtually insignificant.

For instance, Tia & Tamera Mowry (above) are on the list at #4, because, evidently, they’re a boring version of the Kardashians:

The Kardashian sisters rule over the world of vanity reality shows—that brutal subculture of cable-TV programming in which camera crews follow around shitty, uninteresting celebrities while they engage in staged arguments and do boring crap. But the Kardashians, at least, have an inexplicably massive following. So we’ll choose the Mowry sisters as representatives of this genre, because their show airs on a worthless channel (The Style Network) and because you almost certainly have no idea who they are, which is as it should be. (Note: There are two of them, but we’ll count them as a single unit for this list.)

Gweynth Paltrow & Arnold Schwarzenegger round out the top 15, while Tila Tequila is even noted on the list at #18, though the former Myspace/reality television star hasn’t been in the media in ages. 

One of the most successful artists of 2011, Pitbull, came in at #22, because  his “music sounds like the aborted offspring of Nelly and Will.i.am”. Ouch.

Most baffling to me, however, is GQ’s choice to name President Barack Obama as a person with little to no influence. Though he’s at #25, two years ago he was GQ’s “Leader of the Year” and in 2008 he was the magazine’s “Man of the Year.” Strange.

According to the list, “This is a man who should be the most transformational figure of the century. Hell, he promised to be that. Instead he wields all the power of a substitute teacher at night school.

Are you ready for the new season of The Game?

Since moving to BET, not only has the show brought in tremendous ratings, but also a more far-fetched storyline that some were opposed to — though it hasn’t stopped any of us from tuning in.

During the new BET original series, “Reed Between The Lines”, the network debuted a sneak peek for the newest season of The Game, featuring ample drama between the cast (Melanie, Derwin, Jason, Malik & Tasha) & cameos from some of our favorite celebs.

On the latest ‘When I Was 17′, MTV reminisces with entertainer Jamie Foxx, teen idols Tia and Tamera Mowry, and basketball player Chris Bosh.

Though Tia & Tamera were already famous at 17, it’s amazing how far all three have come!
