Beyonce & Jay-Z’s Fundraiser For President Obama Rakes In $4 Million (Photos)

Guests paid $40,000 each to attend a private party, hosted by Jay-Z & Beyonce, in New York City on Tuesday. The occasion? A fundraising reception for President Obama.

About 100 people were at the event, held at Jay-Z’s 40/40 Club in Manhattan, to hear the President speak.

During his speech, the POTUS joked about Beyonce & Michelle Obama’s popularity, quipping:

“Jay knows what my life is like,” he said. “We both have daughters and our wives are more popular than we are.”
