Though I’m aware that parts o fRihanna’s “You Da One” music video (released just yesterday) were inspired by the disturbing film, “Clockwork Orange”, accusations are flying that the singer ripped off the video’s concept from a 2008 shoot by Norwegian photographer, Solve Sundsbo.
Artists are often accused of plagiarizing their work; though sometimes the resemblance isn’t obvious, other times, it is blatant.
It often seems that singers popular in the United States are inspired by works from performers across the globe,but I don’t think that’s reason to steal their work. Needless to say, this doesn’t look too good for Rihanna.
