Tiger Woods’ Head Mistress Returns $10 Million Hush Money, Prepares To Sue

Who can forget the Tiger Woods scandal? I know he certainly has not, as it’s taken quite the toll on his personal life & career

If I remember correctly, one of the major players of the scandal was Tiger’s lead mistress, Rachel Uchitel, a nightclub promoter that received a $10 million “hush money” settlement (that name may sound familiar, as she was featured on last season of VH1′s Celebrity Rehab for a “love addiction”).

According to TMZ.com, Uchitel was recently forced to return a large sum of the $10 million she received to keep quiet about her affair with Tiger Woods. But now she’s having second thoughts and may sue her (infamous) lawyer, Gloria Allred, for malpractice.

In court, Gloria negotiated a $10 million settlement for Rachel (hours before Rachel was going to hold a tell-all news conference about Tiger Woods).  The settlement included a confidentiality agreement, which prohibited Rachel from talking about Tiger.

However, the agreement stated that if Rachel violated the confidentiality clause, she would not only have to return the money she received but Tiger could sue her for damages as well.

Now Tiger’s lawyer, Jay Lavely, has contacted Gloria and said they were going after Rachel because they believed she violated the confidentiality agreement by allegedly speaking with TMZ and going on “Celebrity Rehab” to treat her “addiction to love” (though she never talked specifically about Tiger on the show).

After watching Rachel’s season of Celeb Rehab, I don’t believe that she was this monster that the media has made her out to be; she’s been through a lot. However, I don’t condone sleeping with married men (she’s also openly admitted to sleeping with the very married ‘Bones’ star, David Boreanz). What’s more, she’s currently making headlines for sleeping with Elin Nordegren’s (yes, Tiger’s ex-wife) current boyfriend. Messy, messy.
