Over the weekend I had the privilege to attend The Sprite Step Off Semi-Finals as a media representative for my blog. I had a great deal of fun & was able to enjoy performances from B.O.B. & The Dream.
I honestly slept on rapper/singer B.O.B. (aka Bobby Ray) after seeing him perform on
The Mo’Nique Show but I knew he was a talented individual, perhaps I just didn’t realize how talented he was. His energetic stage presence & lively, eclectic music had the entire audience going wild with approval. I definitely can’t wait to hear more from him the future.
Though I love The Dream & his music, his lackluster melody of hit singles (“Falsetto”, “Shawty Is A Ten”, “Rockin That Sh*t”, etc.) left quite a bit to be desired; the most interesting aspect of his performances was his improved physique. Regardless, I still can’t wait to hear more from the talented singer/songwriter on his upcoming final album,
